I don’t know how – but I had never seen the early nineties film Mermaids until recently. I can’t believe what I had been missing! Gracing the screen are gems such as Cher, Winona Ryder and a wee little Christina Ricci. But what got me beyond the great plot, kitschy quality and great art direction was the styling.
