Just like you, I’m aching for the start of spring. Fresh air, blooming flowers, sunny and rainy days, it’s the season of renewal and re-birth after all. When choosing a design to feature that embodies the season I easily gravitated towards this bright yellow tank top.

The “Freshly Picked” design utilizes upcycled t-shirt cotton and reshapes it to create a flirty yet comfy top that’s great for dressing up or down. And with the adorable ruffles along the collar and button details, it’s easy to see why this piece makes me think of April showers and May flowers. Scoop it up on my Etsy page here.

Nothing screams gentlemanly charm like an elegant bow tie attached to your favorite shirt or jacket – which is why Perfect Gent is my featured design!

These fun clip-on bow ties are handmade using sweatshirt fabric scraps from my other creations – giving them a retro yet contemporary feel that makes them perfect for any occasion. With the classic shape and soft cotton material, it’s a great accessory for work or play, and make a great Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone in your life. There’s a chill in the air and the month of November is well underway – which can mean only one thing. It’s bundling season! And for that reason we’ve chosen The Dodger cowl as our featured item.

Whether it’s for keeping yourself or an eco-savvy giftee warm, this elegant and utilitarian accessory is the perfect piece for the chilling season. Available in several color combos, the grey on grey is my personal favorite as it has unisex appeal and a slightly military vibe.

Handmade using recycled sweatshirt fabrics, these uber soft and snuggly cowls are great for day-to-day wear, biking, or spicing up a weekend outfit. Summer is here and in full force! The season for beaching, swimming, tanning, festival-ing, you name it! So for the next featured design in the bunch I wanted to pull out my favorite vintage swimsuit – Sweet Thang!

Nothing beats a vintage one-piece for comfort and style. Designed to show off and smooth out curves, this adorable bathing suit has a fun gold clover print, open back, bow detail and splash of floral across the front. Great for wearing to the beach or layering with a high-waisted full skirt. There’s lots of fun possibilities with this unique retro find!

Summer’s officially started Saturday – and there’s so many ways to celebrate! Hitting the beach, going to the market, enjoying an outdoor movie night, it seems all it takes is the solstice and some good temps and the city comes to life.

So when deciding on the my next design feature, I had all these activities in mind – and then some. My choice for early summer frolicking: the Flirty Gerty. Created from an over-sized vintage maxi dress, I altered this one-of-a-kind piece to make it a lightweight summer frock that’s great for hitting the sand or pavement.

With a loose easy breezy fit, super lightweight fabric, neon pink hue and embellished lace collar, it’s great as a cover-all over your swim suit or on it’s own belted with your favorite sandals. Absolutely loving on this dress! Scoop it up on my Etsy page here.
