Meet the Models: Caitlin

Whether it’s posting incredible finds on her blog, Wanderlustings, or creating effortlessly elegant and retro-inspired jewelry for her Etsy shop, Caitlin’s a force to be reckoned with! So how could I not invite her to pose for me in a Pierogi Picnic photo shoot?!

To get into her lovely brain further, I asked her what inspired her. Here’s Caitlin’s response:

“Possibly anything. But constants seem to be: being different, creative and driven people, cinematography, music designed to tell a story, architecture, anything experimental, Paul Pope, comic books in general, decades past, Klaus Nomi, playing pretend, Ray and Charles Eames, self-awareness and letting your imagination run wild.”

Item of the Week: Clara Bow Top

This is one of my favorite shirt designs! Created from second-hand turtle necks, the Clara Bow tops are super soft and stretchy thanks to the blended cotton mix. The scoop back gives wearers a *wink wink* look while still staying demure. The lacy bow is a marriage of my two favorite things. Can you guess? Lace and bows! I knew you were sharp. I also adore the over the shoulder gaze of Kelli in this photo. What a beauty she is!

DIY: Chocolate Chip Malt Cookies

It was just two years ago that I discovered malt. How could this delicious flavor additive have eluded me my whole life?! In ode to the scrumptious sweetness of the powder that made Ovaltine a hit with children for decades – I wanted to share the following recipe which will have you salivating with delight.
